Mentorship & Mocktails Mixer

Join us for mocktails and find your mentor or mentee!

We will be enjoying mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) while mingling with Rotarians as potential mentors. Rotaractors and Rotarians will participate in a speed-dating type of event where each gives their elevator pitches to see which Rotarian would be the best fit as their mentor.

Rotaractors will then be able to submit their preferences for who they would like to be their mentor. Matched mentors and mentees will then meet in person at least once per month with call checkins as needed.

Rotaractors can benefit from the Rotarians by receiving career and life advice, being held accountable for their goals, and being able to connect with a Santa Cruz professional. The Rotarians can benefit by gaining a millennial’s perspective, being able to share what it is like to be a Rotarian, and knowing that they are making a direct positive impact on a young person’s life.

Business casual attire is encouraged.
